rental cars, taxis, public transport
- Madeira is a gorgeous island with wonderful adventures. You can get around by renting a car or by calling a cab. If you use a navigation app, we recommend Google (rather than Waze, which does not seem to be updated and might send you through dangerous paths – true bride and groom story). Please know that Madeira is a challenging place to drive for many because of its funny curves and steep roads.
- Safety First – Enjoy Responsibly! On our special day, we want everyone to relax and have a fantastic time. We highly recommend leaving the car behind so you can fully enjoy the celebration without worry. Madeira has an excellent network of taxis and car services to get you safely to and from the venue.
You can easily: - • Book through online platforms
- • Ask your hotel to arrange transportation
- • Use Booking.com's taxi service

- • For the best and safest experience, we recommend joining guided tours or asking your hotel for advice on suitable trails.
